The CPG Award for Innovation and Creativity
About the CPG Award
The CPG Award for Innovation and Creativity is given annually by GMA's Associate Member Council to recognize the
innovation that occurs every day at GMA member companies. The award allows for the broad submission by manufacturer members of innovative
ideas, with an emphasis on leading the industry forward in the 21st Century. Submissions will be judged by AMC members
on creativity, willingness to take risks, achieving measurable results and creating a valuable knowledge base for the entire industry.
Sample innovative categories include:
- Use of Technology
- Collaboration with Partners
- Manufacturing Excellence
- Productivity Improvements
New in 2008
GMA will honor TWO members with CPG Awards! Applications will be evaluated in two divisions, with one award given in each:
Manufacturers with total sales below $1 billion will compete in Division A.
Manufacturers with total sales of $1 billion and above will compete in Division B.

Submission Guidelines
- The Innovative Project section should be no longer than six pages, using 11-point type, single-spaced with one-inch page margins.
- Submissions should be clear and concise.
- General information and attachments are supplemental to your application and will help illustrate your contributions to the success of your company or location.
- Submissions should not include videos or sales material.
- Advertising is excluded from this award.
