The Grocery Manufacturers/Food Products Association
(GMA/FPA), in collaboration with the Center for Science
in the Public Interest, will gather stakeholders from
industry, government, health, nutrition and consumer
groups for this timely conference. The conference will
focus on strategies and tactics to help consumers meet
the 2005 Dietary Guidelines recommendation for 2,300 mg
of sodium intake per day, while at the same time, lay
out industry successes, opportunities and challenges to
meet consumer expectations of taste, quality and safety.
