FDA's Changing Culture:
What It Means for Your Next FDA Inspection

Wednesday, August 1, 2012
3:00 to 4:00 pm (EDT)

FDA's culture is rapidly changing in important ways that will affect every packaged food company.  The agency has become much more inspection and enforcement-oriented in a manner not seen for nearly 20 years.  This means that strategies that worked well in the past may now be obsolete.

Joe Levitt, a 25-year FDA veteran and now a partner at Hogan Lovells, will tell you what you need to know regarding these historic culture changes as you prepare for your next FDA inspection.  Joe will be joined by experienced industry experts who will outline several key areas of preparation for an inspection, such as initial preparation, and who needs to be involved from the plant and from corporate, the critical importance of developing effective in-plant policies on what to share with the inspector and how to best facilitate positive interactions between plant personnel and FDA inspectors.
