The release of proposed rules under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) on good manufacturing practices and risk-based preventive controls has caused a lot excitement, and even more questions.

The proposed rules cover new ground in the areas of records access and Food Safety Plans. What should you, as a food manufacturer, be doing right now in these key areas to prepare for FSMA?
