Recognized by Industry organizations, persons completing Sanitation Operator Training - Train-the-Trainer program receive a Lead Instructor (LI) sanitation operator training certificate. A Sanitation Operator Training LI oversees implementation of proper cleaning and sanitizing in a food manufacturing facility to ensure safe food production. After this Course, the LI will be able to teach operators and fellow practitioners the proper methods of cleaning and sanitizing food manufacturing production lines, equipment, or facilities for safe food production.

 

PURPOSE:
The course is intended to provide a comprehensive overview to lead instructors of what is required teach others about cleaning and sanitizing food manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure safe food production. Instructors will learn about different learning modalities, and best practices in teaching sanitation to operators.

 

OVERVIEW:
The course is comprised of 20 course modules (14 foundation level and 6 specialized level) and is instructor-led with facilitated discussions, activities, and hands-on practice to reinforce the objectives. An adult learning component will help participants understand different learning styles and how to use them when teaching. This course is intended for those who already have a background in sanitation, and will help them obtain materials to teach the course.

 

         TARGET AUDIENCE:

  • Anyone having an interest, or who is currently involved in training those who, clean and sanitize food manufacturing production lines, equipment, or facilities.

  • Anyone with training and supervisory responsibilities.
