  • Rorke Denver

         
       

    Commander Rorke Denver has run every phase of training for the U.S. Navy SEALs and led special-forces missions in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and other international hot spots. He starred in the hit film Act of Valor, which is based on true SEAL adventures. His first book, Damn Few: Making the Modern SEAL Warrior, takes you inside his personal story and the fascinating, demanding SEAL training program. In his second book Worth Dying For: A Navy SEALs Call to a Nation, which was released in April 2016, Rorke tackles the questions that have emerged about America’s past decade at war–from what makes a hero to why we fight and what it does to us. Up next, Rorke will be seen on FOX’s American Grit. The new series follows 16 of the country’s toughest men and women as they face a variety of military-grade and survival-themed challenges set in the wilderness.

    In 2006, Denver was officer in charge of BRAVO Platoon of SEAL Team THREE in Iraq’s Al Anbar Province in one of the most combat-heavy deployments of any regular SEAL team since Vietnam.  Denver was awarded the Bronze Star with “V” for valorous action in combat.

  • Rick Keyes

       

    Rick Keyes is the President and CEO of Meijer, Inc., the family-owned and privately-held Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer that operates 230 supercenters throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin. Rick joined Meijer in 1989 as a pharmacy team member in Columbus, Ohio, while attending college.

    A 28-year Meijer veteran, Rick was appointed President in October 2015 and named the first non-Meijer family member CEO in January 2017 after holding various leadership positions in pharmacy and store operations, as well as supply chain and manufacturing. Rick is the 11th President in the history of the company that employs more than 70,000 team members across the Midwest.

    As President and CEO, he oversees all day-to-day operations and works closely with Executive Chairman Hank Meijer in developing and executing growth strategies. These strategies include a strong focus on enhancing the customer experience, driving team member engagement, and maintaining a competitive focus in the fast-paced retail industry while staying true to the Meijer values.

    Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Rick served as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain and Manufacturing, a role he had held since 2006. Prior to that role, Rick spent 15 years in retail operations, starting in Pharmacy, and becoming a Store Director, Market Director and Regional Vice President.

    Rick received his Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University, where he now serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. Additionally, he serves on the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy Dean’s Corporate Council, as well as the NACDS Board of Directors.

  • Christopher Lischewski

       

    Mr. Lischewski is currently the President and CEO of Bumble Bee Foods, the largest, branded seafood company in North America.  He has held this position since 1999.  Prior to Bumble Bee Mr. Lischewski worked in management consulting and he has held executive positions with H. J. Heinz / StarKist and ConAgra Foods.  In his current position, he has been instrumental in creating one of the largest seafood companies in North America and one of the premier seafood companies in the world.

    Mr. Lischewski has a BS in Finance and Accounting and an MBA in International Finance from the University of Southern California.  He resides in San Diego, California with his wife Louise and son Raithe.

     

     

     

  • Charlie Redden

       

    Charlie Redden is the Director of Supply Chain at Taylor Guitars, a leading manufacturer of acoustic and electric guitars. Redden leads the company’s efforts in purchasing, distribution, environmental compliance, logistics, inventory control, and supply chain oversight. Redden’s pragmatic, on-the-ground approach to working in partnership with land owners, forestry stewards, and environmental organizations has made Taylor Guitars a leader in responsible forestry management and social reinvestment in many areas of the world from which the company procures wood. Additionally, Redden is responsible for continuity of materials and finished goods throughout the company’s locations, including its main manufacturing complexes in El Cajon, California, and Tecate, Mexico, as well as its European distribution center in the Netherlands. Redden also served as Director General for Taylor’s ebony saw mill subsidiary in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and is still involved in the overall management of the business.

    Redden holds a B.A. in Economics from San Diego State University and a Certified Purchasing Manager credential from the Institute for Supply Management. Redden’s work in Cameroon was profiled in the December 2013 edition of ISM’s Inside Supply Management magazine

  • Tolan Shaw

       

    Tolan Shaw is an award-winning artist who has risen in the Southern California music scene as a pop/rock singer-songwriter who will stop at nothing to build a career with his original music. Both a solo acoustic troubadour and the frontman of his own band, Shaw’s music is catchy and soulful, bluesy and melodic, poppy and sincere. It is also highly inspired by his yearn to travel and to learn about the world and its people.

    In the past few years, Shaw focused heavily on songwriting and performing nationally and inter-nationally, releasing singles and quality music videos which have gained the attention of radio and industry ears. Highlights include receiving regular radio play for songs off his 2015 release “Chin Up,” being included on the list of 91X San Diego’s top 91 songs of 2014 for his song “Eyes,” and successfully booking and performing a 5 week U.S. tour, a 2 week Mexico tour, and a 2 week Canada tour in 2015. 

    Shaw’s strong songwriting also led him to multiple placements and licensing deals with various TV networks and companies, including ABC Family, Jimmy Kimmel Live, MTV, and Verizon Wireless.
