Codex Committee on Contaminants in Foods
The Codex Committee on Contaminants in Foods (CCCF) establishes or endorses permitted maximum levels, and where necessary, guideline levels for contaminants and naturally occurring toxicants in food and feed; prepares priority lists for risk assessment by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA), elaborates methods of analysis and sampling for the determination of contaminants and naturally occurring toxicants in food and feed, and elaborates standards or codes of practices for related subjects. CCCF is hosted by the Netherlands.
