Chemicals Management Committee
The Chemical Management Committee (CMC), of the Science and Regulatory Affairs Committee (SRAC) advances the goals of the SRAC by providing strategic leadership on technical issues related to chemical management for the food and beverage industry, and the consumer products industry. The CMC supports a risk-based approach to ingredient safety in order to ensure their continued safe use in food, beverages and, personal and household consumer products. The committee will address, advocate for and communicate the scientific basis for ingredient safety to ensure the continued availability of new and innovative ingredients for the industry.
