Collaborating to Drive Growth: Going Deeper

This session will dig deeper on the principles other industries use to drive collaboration, and focus to identify 2-3 tangible ideas that our industry can jointly pursued post the CEO Leadership Forum discussion.
  Re-inventing Growth with Big Data

Big data and analytics present an significant opportunity for retailers and consumer goods companies.  But feedback from many is that they have access to more information than they know what to do with, and haven’t yet enabled real change in day-to-day decision making based on the information they have. This session will highlight joint opportunities for value creation across the industry, and how companies can transform decision making and growth based on ‘big data’ analytics.
Shaping the Image of Our Industry

There continues to be opportunity to sharpen the value proposition for the consumer industry.  Since our initial discussions on this topic as a CEO community, we have taken action to demonstrate our commitment to consumers and the environment through x, y and z.  But there is continued opportunity to strengthen our relationships with key stakeholders (including regulatory players), increase consumer confidence, and build a pipeline of future talent. Building on past CEO LF discussions, this break-out session will focus on actions we can take as an industry to sharpen and communicate our industry value proposition.
Moving to Action on Talent Attraction

At the inaugural CEO Leadership forum, the theme of attracting top talent to the Consumer industry surfaced as a cross-industry opportunity. This break-out session will focus on actions we can take to increase our presence and impact in University level recruiting, and talent development programs we can put in place to strengthen the attractiveness of our industry for top talent and ensure its long-term success.
