Experimental Design and Statistics for Microbiology Workshop

Experimental Design and Statistics
for Microbiology Workshop

Whether in the area of microbial challenge testing or research and development, the various options of data analysis methods and softwares to choose from can be a cumbersome obstacle in preparing a microbiological study.

New in 2013, GMA is offering a two-day course which covers both basic and applied statistics for data analysis and effective experimental design in the food industry. At the completion of this program, participants will have the skills and knowledge to implement principles of hypothesis generation, select the best method for data analysis based on the hypothesis, determine the optimal software for their operation and communicate the outcomes of data analysis in publications and articles.

The registration fee includes all course materials as well as breakfasts, lunches and refreshments.
Note: This course does not cover considerations for routine testing,
such as sampling plans or lot acceptance.
