Future Nutrition Regulations and Your Business
The FDA has recently proposed the first major overhaul to nutrition labeling since the 1990s! The proposed changes include revised serving sizes, modified Nutrition Facts format, additional nutrients to be listed and new Daily Values for most nutrients. In addition, FDA is planning to introduce “Draft Voluntary Standards” for the amounts of sodium that should be in different categories of food. This workshop will provide an overview of the proposed changes, discuss potential impact on the CPG industry, and highlight ways that you can get ready for the changes.
