GMA Names Three New Members to Board of Directors

Washington, D.C. – The Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) today announced election of three new members to its Board of Directors: Steven A. Cahillane of Kellogg Company; Bobby J. Chacko of Ocean Spray Cranberries and Paul D. Chibe of Ferrero North America.

GMA is the leading trade association for the food, beverage and consumer products manufacturing industry, which touches the lives of every American family every day. This industry is a critical driver of the economy as the single largest sector of manufacturing jobs in the U.S., with 2.1 million jobs across 30,000 communities.

The GMA Board of Directorsincludes top U.S. leaders of its member companies, and the three new Board members were elected this week at GMA’s spring Board meeting.

All three are recognized industry leaders with decades of experience, and their depth of knowledge on consumer trends will prove invaluable as GMA works to meet the rapidly evolving needs of 21st Century food, beverage and consumer products companies, and of consumers across the country,” said Chris Policinski, chairman of the GMA Board and president and CEO of Land O’Lakes, Inc.

Cahillane is CEO and chairman of the Board at Kellogg Company. Prior to joining Kellogg in October, 2017, he was president and CEO at The Nature’s Bounty Co. He had previously spent seven years at the Coca-Cola Company and eight years at AB InBev.

Chacko is president and CEO at Ocean Spray Cranberries, and joined the company in 2017. He is a 20-year CPG veteran and entrepreneur in the food and beverage industry, working for companies such as Mars Drinks, the Coca-Cola Company, AB InBev and GE Capital.

Chibe is president and CEO of Ferrero North America, responsible for U.S., Canada and Caribbean businesses. Chibe joined Ferrero after working for AB InBev, where he was U.S. chief marketing officer. He worked 11 years for Wrigley and earlier in his career was with Quaker Oats Company and Leaf, Inc. (now owned by Hershey.)
