Leadership Expert Simon Sinek to Keynote GMA Chairman’s Lecture

(Washington, DC) – Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) President and CEO Pamela G. Bailey today announced the selection of Simon Sinek, leadership expert, optimist and author, to deliver the keynote address at the GMA Chairman’s Lecture on January 19, 2013 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

During the GMA Chairman’s Lecture, Sinek will examine the leaders and companies that make the greatest impact in the world, and share the remarkable common patterns in how they think, act and communicate. A trained ethnographer and author of Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action, Sinek’s insights are grounded in the biology of human decision-making and why some leaders, messages and organizations inspire us over others.

Sinek’s insights have earned him invitations to meet with leaders and organizations froma wide array of industries including Microsoft, Mars, 3M, the New York City Ballet and Members of Congress.
